What’s better on a picnic lunch than a nice slice of pi(e)? To find this box, you’ll need to solve a small math riddle, though. Find or calculate the first 18 digits of PI after the decimal point and add them together. This is your Key (Lime, of course) to Pi(e).

Pumpkin Pi is hidden in Memorial Park inside loop 610 in Houston.

Directions:
From Memorial Drive, turn onto Picnic Lane. Turn left into the picnic area. Check carefully the posted hours for vehicles—during the week, they’re limited and we almost got locked in when we went to hide this box. At the stop sign, turn right (it’s one way). Continue veering to the right all the way around to the very back of the loop. Park in the second parking area after you see a lone swing set on the right. At the back of the parking lot, you should see a white sign that says “No Bike Beyond This Point.” This is the start of your trail.

Box directions.
20 steps from the start of the trail, you should come to a Y. Go right to the fallen log. Cross over the log. Begin counting your Pi steps here. After you finish, there will be a ravine to your left. Go 14 paces down the ravine. Above and to the right will be two trees with intertwined roots. The letterbox is behind the tree on the left, in the roots, hidden underneath leaves and bark. Rehide well and email us to let us know what kind of Pi(e) you liked best.
