This is the second of my boxes in Shelby County. You need to get to S.R. 9 between Shelbyville and Greenfield. Turn east on 600 N and go about a mile. As soon as you pass 150 E. look on the south side of the road for a sign for Roger Shaw Memorial Park, turn off there and park where you can. If you cross the bridge over the Big Blue River you've gone too far. I tried to find out who Roger Shaw was, but to no avail. This little park is designed for some mountain biking. Handcarved stamp (one of my favs so far), kid and pet friendly (if you keep them out of the water). Drive-by, less than 5 minutes to find.

Clues

Follow the western border of the park, made of a cable and mostly wooden posts, south til it ends. Look for a (bike) trail heading south into the woods. Take 4 paces (pace = 2 steps) onto the trail and then look to your right for a tree about 5 ft away. It will have part of an old farm fence near it. Look inside its trunk(s) on the westerly side for the regular-sized, camo-taped letterbox hidden by strategically placed sticks and bark. Please contact me if you find it and let me know its condition. Congratulations to first finders, Trailstompers!
