The Cass County Carousel arrived in Logansport in 1919. It had originally resided in Fort Wayne and was carved by famed carousel carver Gustav Dentzel. It is speculated that some of the horses date back to the late 1800s. Now the carousel is a National Historic Landmark, housed in its own climate-controlled building in Logansport's Riverside Park.
