This is part of the Salt Water & Sand Series

In honor of her daughter's 30th birthday, Empress Luci decided to plant a tree. Being a lover of salt water and sand - she decided upon a Palm Tree!

The Palm of Tennessee is planted in a park with the same name as our 36th President.

You can park anyplace and enjoy this lovely park, but the nearest parking will be in the lot pointed out by the pavillion, picnic table, restroom sign.

Your journey begins into a nature trail which quickly comes to a wooden bridge. After crossing the bridge, head towards the little white picket fence. Hmmmmmmmm guess there are plants for sale here sometimes?

Continue up the path, stump right - stump left, 20 more paces stump left, 32 more paces stump left - - this place needs some trees that will grow! ! Spotting another stump a bit further off of the path on the right after about 43 paces, Empress Luci heads off to plant her tree.

Hopefully, the Palm of Tennessee will last longer than the poor trees that are now reduced to stumps in this nature area.

As usual, be discreet and rehide the box carefully.

Read waivers and disclaimers. Enjoy!

I believe the park is open from 5 a.m. until 11 p.m. - - but then again, I didn't see a gate to lock you out. It is probably best to go during daylight hours.
