To find this letterbox, you'll have to explore the Pioneer Village located in downtown Salyersville, KY. It is run by the local Historical Society, and they give guided tours for a small donation. You can also view the cabins by yourself, but if you want to see the whole thing, it's best to get the guided tour.
To find the letterbox, go to the John Prater cabin. (It is now a school house) Make sure that no one is looking, and look into the backside of the block under the right porch post. You should find a monument dedicated to Founder's Day, the local festival that celebrates the founding families of Magoffin County.
