Another real easy drive by.
But you will surely want to walk the beach and perhaps stay for a picnic after finding this one. It is hidden very near the parking lot and right above the beach. Actually in someone's fence, whoops, we did not ask for permission,(forgot) but it is on the beach side and do not think it would be noticed, or a problem. Please be discreet.
Drive into Qualicum Beach. Look for the Cowichan Band totem pole just near the Visitor's Centre.
From the totem pole head south, or right, along the path approximately 250 paces until you reach the end of this path and some stairs to the beach.
Take the six stairs down to the bottom and immediately you will notice a cement block fence. You are getting so close. You will be looking in the second from the top row, third block over for the letterbox. It is in a small ziploc bag. Please be very discreet. Remove it and go to the beach or a bench to stamp it. Then carefully replace it.
Enjoy the beach, and if you are here real early, the sunrise will be glorious.
