This box was placed in honor of Super Bowl Champion New England Patriot Tedy Bruschi. Tedy was a standout Defensive End for the Arizona Wildcats from 1992-95 where he was a two-time All-American and tied Derrick Thomas for the all-time NCAA record with 52 sacks. When Tedy and his “Desert Swarm” Defense were featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated (8/29/94) the headline read “ROCK SOLID”.

TO THE LETTERBOX:
Go to the McKale Center on the University of Arizona campus. Find the bronze bust outside and read about the man and the story behind Arizona’s slogan “Bear down!”

Head west toward the large scoreboard at the north end of the football stadium. Before you get there, you’ll see 5 footballs on your left that look a bit too cumbersome to play with. Stop here and look up into the stadium… It was built in 1928 and has grown to seat over 56,000 fans. Do you see any names you recognize on the Ring of Fame?

There is a palm tree behind the second football. The box is about 10 feet from the palm, at 225 degrees from north, right where the ramp meets the ground, hiding under a flat white rock.

*** Please make sure the box is closed tightly. There is a sprinkler nearby! ***
