Lick Creek Letterbox
Traveling South on US HWY 6 past College Station exit on Rock Prairie Road. Turn Left on Rock Prairie, head back over the highway, away from town.
One half mile on left, watch for Reindeer! Continue traveling approximately 4.7 miles.
Ignore gated equestrian entrance for the park, .2 miles after turn right through white pillars for Lick Creek Park.
Take Iron Bridge Trail. Less than ½ mile down the trail turn Right on Post Oak Trail. This is the second entrance for Post Oak Trail. It is a big well-established trail.
Go approximately 100 paces. On the left side of the trail is a small cleared edge with a lone cedar tree.
Letterbox is at the forest tree line under a rock about two feet behind this little cedar tree.
Park is slightly remote but the terrain is very easy. An excellent place to let your dogs off leash.
