Clues
Since the railroad first began, there have been people who have ridden the rails for one reason or another, whether they were short on cash, or it was just time for a change. The rail was the fastest mode of transportation. The sights and sounds of the old trains stir memories and even now in this day and age, trains hold a special place in most of our hearts. Every time I see a train I stop to wonder where it came from and where it is on its way to. How many lives will what is on that train touch? Now it is time for me to hit the rails. I have watched the trains come and go. With the help of my friends, I hope to ride the rails of this great country. My name is Lobo the Hobo. I am a wandering letterbox. If you wouldn't mind, please take me from my current location and plant me near the railroad tracks at some other location. But PLEASE, for my safety and the safety of those looking for me, don't plant me too close to the tracks themselves. As much as I enjoy the Railroad, I would never want anyone to get hurt at my expense. I hope you enjoy my journey as much as I will. Thank you for helping me on my journey along the railroad.

Lobo was travelling along Central in the Village of Lancaster between Walden and Broadway, when he noticed a sign for a large "apple" along the road. Being hungry, he followed the sign, and though somewhat "electrified" along the way, he nevertheless found the apple a bit too "rubbery." Moving on, he crossed the railroad tracks until he found a spot where some had found their final resting place near a bridge. At the northeast corner of this resting place is a large stump. Travel about 110 paces to the east. Follow a Pilon, a Fiegel, a Reich, a Rice, and a Smith. Lobo is napping under a bush near a Haap.

From the original planter: This is a wandering letterbox. We would like it to work along the same basic principal as a hitch hiker, except that instead of planting him in an already existing letterbox, we ask that you plant him in an original location somewhere along a set of railroad tracks keeping with the hobo theme. When you have found the box, please contact the current placer, so they can delete the current clues to the box. Once you have placed the box in another location, post the clues as if it were your own box. The only thing we ask is that you not change the name of the box. This way we and others that the box comes in contact with will be able to keep track of its progress. This box will count as a Find as well as a Plant. We hope that you enjoy this box and help Lobo on his journey.
Additional from Dagonell the Pirate: (dagonell@heronter.org) Please keep me informed as to the location of the box. I'd like to keep track of its progress. (The above information must all be added to your new clues.)
