06/29/07 After many problems with geocachers and my box, which finally disappeared, I have recarved everything smaller and rehidden nearby as a magnetic letterbox. Please be gentle with the stamps as they are fragile.

A happy-birthday-we're-proud-of-you celebration!

Difficulty: Easy. Be stealthy, sly, and blend-in. Dogs on leash, kids, strollers, ok.

This box is located in downtown Moab near the corner of Main and 100 South. Turn west on 100 south, go down a little ways, and look for the rock monolith near two leaning rocks on the left side. This is an opening into the Mill Creek Parkway, a trail system that runs all through town along Mill Creek and Pack Creeks. This is a small oasis of coolerness in the hot summers. Go past the rock monolith and straight ahead is a bench near some old mining equipment. If you were to sit on the bench you would notice a yellow piece of mining equipment nearby on your left. If you were to look underneath the mining equipment, under the seat area, you could feel a letterbox clinging to the underneath. Please make sure it sticks well when replacing.

Handmade stamp and journal - Be stealthy and sly, this is a well traveled area. A new stamp is added every year, so if you visited this box in the past, there are probably new surprises to be had.
