Short and easy
Visit The Sleeping Giant Park Association (SGPA) web page at www.sgpa.org for a wonderful color trail map and lots of other great info.
Drive up Chestnut Lane (the eastern terminus of many of Sleeping Giant's Trails) to where the Blue-blazed Quinnipiac Trail crosses the road. There is room for 2 cars to pull off on the west side of the street.
Take the Quinnipiac Trail to the east and follow it downhill.
Cross the wooden bridge over the stream and soon come to a stone wall.
Pass through the wall and take about 25 steps to your right down the east side of the wall. This should take you just past a break in the wall. Here, behind a flat door low in the wall, you will find the Texas State Stamp.
Return the way you came, or continue on to find "A Very Good Year" letterbox.
Don't forget clues to the Q-series too.
