Hand-carved stamp
Six miles west of the town of Winters, Ca on State Route 128, on the east side of the road, up on a low ridge, once stood a tree growing out of a boulder. (NOTE: this tree is no longer there but the boulder is.) An ancient "Yolo Oak" stands nearby. Park on the 200 meter long turn-out on the west side of the road. Cross carefully to the "white-faced" boulder near said tree and look under a few rocks on its south side.
