Bonnie and Clyde are hiding out at Brazos Bend State Park! Do you dare look for them?

Clyde Barrow was born March 24, 1909 near Telico, Texas. In 1926, after his family moved to Dallas, he was arrested for the first time for auto theft. Over the next four years, he started a series of Dallas-area robberies.

He met Bonnie Parker in 1930 and was jailed soon after for burglary in Waco. He escaped after using a handgun Bonnie slipped him, but was later caught and sentenced to 14yrs hard labor in the Texas State Pen. After being paroled 2 yrs later, he headed up the Barrow Gang - a gang of armed bank robbers.

They robbed grocery stores, filling stations, and small banks throughout Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Missouri.

Eventually, the FBI got involved and with the Texas Rangers, an ambush was arranged in Gibsland, Louisiana. On May 23 1934, Bonnie and Clyde were traveling alone, when they were killed a flurry of gunfire from the law enforcement ambush. Their bodies were put on public display in Dallas before burial in their separate family plots.

Although Hollywood has glorified Bonnie and Clyde, the fact remains that they were cold killers and numerous people were murdered by them.

To get to Brazos Bend State Park:
Take 59 South past Sugar Land until you see the sign for the park. Exit and follow the signs - about 15 miles.

To find the box:
Find the Prairie Trail. Follow it back to the observation deck. Just before you turn the corner right in front of the deck, look right and see a large tree. Box is behind tree, covered in leaves and sticks.

Please recover well.
