Location: Fairview Cemetery right off Rt. 33 directly across from the exit to Rockbridge Nature Preserve
Difficulty: Piece of cake.
Note: One pace = two steps.
Bring:pen or pencil and a stamp pad.
***this box has been reported missing and that the shrubs have been removed. I will work to recarve stamp and find a new spot in the same cemetery soon!
This box is a great one to be sure to get if you are also going to the Rockbridge Nature Preserve.
The hardest part is to see how to get into the cemetery.
Rockbridge State Nature Preserve is off US Rt. 33 south of Lancaster, Ohio and south of Rockbridge, Ohio and south of two road side rests--one on either side of Rt. 33. Fairview Cemetery can be accessed by taking Township Road 124 which is directly opposite of the entrance to the Nature Preserve on the other side of Rt. 33. If coming from the roadside rests, Township Road 124 is the very next exit south of the rest stops. If you are able to take this exit, then immediately turn L and that road will lead you past someone's house and right into the cemetery.
If you miss that exit or are coming from the south, you can take the S.R. 180 exit off Rt. 33 which goes to Laurelville. Immediately after taking the exit you will turn R onto Fairview Circle. This road will lead you to the church and then turn R into the cemetery immediately after.
CLUES
Now all you have to do is find the largest book in the cemetery.
Face the open pages and then do an about face.
Walk a couple of steps and look under the large shrubs on your left.
The box will be under a rock or two.
