My kids and I placed this box while spending a few days in Central Oregon enjoying our spring vacation.

Clue:
What better thing to do on Spring Break than go on a picnic. But you have to get away from the crowds, so start at the southern most parking area at Tumalo State park. Follow the pavement to the sign that explaines the rules. Head toward the river and find a nice place to enjoy your lunch. After you are fueled up and ready to go, follow the river up stream. Take a few minutes to scramble on the rocks and play king of the hill. Continue past the balance beam and the old bridge. Stop when the trail meets the blacktop. At the post turn to 325 degrees and take 33 (adult) steps, or 47 (10 yr. old) steps, or 51 (7 yr. old) steps. Turn your back to the river. Now you must dig for your treasure under a big rock and twisted old log.
