Replaced--new stamp & new logbook 11-27-05. Using the same hiding place as before.

Directions:

Wright-Bembry Park is a small neighborhood park in the rapidly gentrifying Shady Acres neighborhood of Houston. The park is located between 23rd and 22nd streets, just west of Durham, just inside the north loop. There is parking available on 22nd street.

Clues:
To find penguin, start at the sidewalk along 23rd street at the far west end of this park. Count 14 sidewalk squares, heading south along the chain link fence. To your right should be a small tree growing just inside the fence. Just ahead of this is a small stump where another tree used to be. The microbox is hanging out inside this stump, under bark, leaves and pebbles.

There is no rhyme or reason for placing this stamp here, other than the fact that in Houston, a penguin certainly might head for Shady Acres (although there's absolutely no relief in August for a penguin). And we like penguins, so we wanted to carve a penguin stamp.

Please rehide well.
