This letterbox is in Old Baylor Park, just west of Independence, Texas
Walk: very short, stroller friendly
Very scenic in early spring when the wildflowers are in bloom.

Directions:
From Brenham, take 105 northwest, turning left on FM 50 just out of town. Follow FM 50 to Independence, turning left on FM 360. Go about ½ mile to West Spur 390, going right on this road. Park is just ahead. Alternately, if you are coming on the “bluebonnet trail” from Burton, turn left from Scenic 390 to Spur 390.
If you're into flowers, a stop at the antique rose emporium on the way to Independence from Brenham is a must!
