This is the 4th in a series of kid and adult-friendly letterboxes celebrating classic toys.

What better place to look for a seven letter word than a library? The Yarmouth Port Library is an historical treasure that gives the reader a pleasurable glance to into the past as well as a marvelous place to read a book. The first Yarmouth library was opened in 1808. Ten years later it was disbanded and the books were sold at auction. In 1866 the Yarmouth Library Association was established and in 1870 Nathan Matthews offered to build this library with the provision that it would be available to all Yarmouth residents as it is to this day.

To get to the Yarmouth Port Library:

From Route 6, take Exit 8. Head towards Union Street (Yarmouth Port.) Take a left at the end of Union Street (there is a Getty Station at this intersection) onto Route 6A. The Yarmouth Port Library is on the left,
look for the library sign to indicate where it is.

Park and walk to the big library mailbox. Facing it, you will see two large trees to the left and right. Scrabble is behind the tree to the left, under some rocks.

This letterbox may be best found in the evening since some of the library windows overlook the spot and make it difficult to be stealthy.
