This box is located in Beaver's Bend Resort. It is freely accessible to the public. Acquire a map of the resort from the visitor's center and head for the BEAVER LODGE trailhead. Park and walk down the trail. You will cross a bridge at the bottom of the hill (EXCELLENT place to play poohsticks or creekstomp!) Continue on the trail, which follows the river for about 5 minutes, until you see an intersecting trail on your left marked CEDAR BLUFF AND DAVID BOREN HIKING TRAIL. Step onto the bridge (note: this bridge was built in 2005 by a group of senior Girl Scouts). When you stand in the center of the bride and look left or southeast you will see a stand of small trees with 5 trunks growing together. The box is hidden at the base of the tree. Please set the rocks back as found, as it's on a slight slope. Enjoy the beatiful scenery!
****It has been reported that this box needs maintenance. I don't get to the area often so it may be awhile before I can take care of it! Sorry!******
