NOTE: As of 5 May 2011, this box has been reported missing. This is still a beautiful castle and area to visit.
-----------
Terrain: Easy. Less than a mile to the box.
Clues: Easy.
Clues: After the murder of her husband, Lord Darnley, Mary Queen of Scots fled here with the Earl of Bothwell, a prime suspect in the murder. After her location was discovered, she escaped through a window dressed as a page boy. Make your way to this spot and park near the church. Walk down the lane and turn right just before reaching the gatehouse, and follow a small path along the top of the stream bank until you reach a wall. There'll be another path leading down to the stream at 60*. At this intersection, find a large tree at 140* and look for the goddess under something marked with the name of a nearby town.
Notes:
- No inkpad in the box, make sure you bring your own.
- Please do not ask me for additional hints without offering a bribe of unpublished clues, hitchhikers, etc.
- Please email me with notes about the box: jelybean.books@comcast.net.
