PLEASE - do NOT lay box lids, stamps, or logbooks down on damp surfaces - grass, logs, rocks. That brings moisture back into the box, and locks it in, where it wreaks havoc or destroys stamp images.

From Edith, continue down the gravel path and cross the wooden bridge. Follow this path to the old oak grove. Stop before the first rock bridge and peek behind the old oak tree on the Right.
No. 5 George

Return to the gravel path. At the second big rock crossing, step high up onto another rock and proceed across the other path toward a wooden bridge to nowhere. Take the bridge, and curve right-ish and duck under into a grove of sorts. George was the Rock upon which the Biltmore Estate was built.
No. 6 Gently Down the Stream

Well, if you HAD a rowboat to go bass-fishing in, where do you suppose it would live? In its own house? Yes. Go there, visit, but then ascend to a hard L-shaped resting spot. Before you step on the landing, look left under the ivy in the crook of the wall's elbow. Please poke DELICATELY to ensure undisturbed foliage will hide your find when you are through.
UPDATE 5/16/10: AMERICA'S CASTLE IS OUT FOR MAINTENANCE.

AS OF 4/3/10, SHE IS MISSING.
No. 6 - THE WEEPING TREE
From the former resting place of Cornelia, follow the Deer Park "Trail" away from the fishing pole farm across the big field. You'll turn right to cross a wooden bridge over a creek.
Up the hollow and ahead you will see the fence with the Weeping Tree behind. Four paces before the gate, check the base of the trail marker for a small rock pile.
Watch out for bikers and Segways! =WHOOSH!= Another private spot lost to wheels. Sigh....
No. 7 - AMERICA'S CASTLE (Legerdemaine #79)
Out for maintenance. Will be replaced soon.
No. 8 - TOE COOLER (originally seeded 6/28/02, carried downstream by the Frances/Ivan flooding of 9/04, stamp lost (box and log found!); reseeded 4/3/05.
Retrace your steps from the Weeping Tree, but turn right after you re-cross the bridge over the creek. Follow the creek all the way to the splashing under the red brick arch. To the right, there is another arch with darkness inside. Turn on your torch and look to the left.
