Easy, flat terrain approx 2 miles round trip from FFPS and 1 1/2 miles round trip from Highland Knolls.

This box is located in George Bush Park on the Hike and Bike Trail.

This is our first planted box!! This box can be reached from 2 different locations. The Highland Knolls location is a little closer, and if you are going out on a Saturday I would highly recommend coming from Highland Knolls instead of the FFPS fields.

This box is accessible by foot or on bike from both locations. You will pass CatGirl's Ode to Soccer if you come from the FFPS side.

Directions: (Highland Knolls)
From I-10 exit Fry Road and go south to Highland Knolls. You can park in the Walgreens Parking lot and cross Fry Road to enter the Hike and Bike Trail.

Clues: (Highland Knolls)
Take the Hike and Bike trail passing 3 types of fences on your left. Brick, Iron (at Park Lake Village Drive), and wood. Curving around, you will enter the piney forest. After exiting the forest you will see a sewage plant on your right. Just past the plant there is a large tree on your right near a concrete culvert. Stop at this tree. When facing the brush stand on the right hand side of the tree. Turn to the Right and take 2 paces to the end of the root system on the right hand side of the tree. Now turn back to the brush again. Approximately 7 paces directly in front of you you will see a small tree with a fork about 1-2 feet off the ground. Box is behind this tree covered by the usual leaves and sticks. Please be discreet and recover well.

Directions: (FFPS Soccer Fields)

From I-10 exit Fry Road and head south to Westheimer Parkway. Turn left on Westheimer Parkway and go about a mile until you see the FFPS soccer fields on your left. The entrance to the Hike and Bike Trail is at the back of the fields.

Clues: (FFPS Soccer Fields)

Take the Hike and Bike trail into the woods. You will cross over 2 bridges. At the fork go to the left. The trail will wind around, and become adjacent to the neighborhood two times and then continue on. You will see twin trees on the left, keep walking. Just before the sewage treatment plants (on left) you will go over a concrete culvert with a large tree on your left. Go to the tree.
