The Beacon Box was placed for the SADD group of Beacon Charter High School in Woonsocket

The Mission of BCHS is
- To provide students with a solid foundation in knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their future educational endeavors and to use their skills in the market economy.
- To provide students with intensive training in visual arts, performing arts, artisanship, or culinary artistry, and to encourage students to explore and develop self-expression through their chosen art form.
- To foster the development of citizenship, leadership skills, personal responsibility, and community participation through the real-world business experience.

About SADD:
Originally, the mission of the SADD chapter was to help young people say "No" to drinking and driving. Today, the mission has expanded. Students have told us that positive peer pressure, role models and other strategies can help them say "No" to more than drinking and driving. And that is why SADD has become a peer leadership organization dedicated to preventing destructive decisions, particularly underage drinking, other drug use, impaired driving, teen violence and teen depression and suicide.

SADD's mission simply stated:
To provide students with the best prevention and intervention tools possible to deal with the issues of underage drinking, other drug use, impaired driving and other destructive decisions.

Clues:
Start at the Historical site in Woonsocket at the corner of Diamond Hill Road and Rathbun Street: Cimetiere Du Precieux Sang. Enter here and follow the main drive to the Roman Ruins-like structure. From this structure you can see almost the entire area! Look for the bright red “Beacon”. Proceed towards it, upon almost reaching the “beacon” look to your left for an overgrown cedar with a buried “Page” within. To the left of the pages deep in the cedar you will find your “Beacon”! Please rehide well and respect the residents of the Cimetiere community!
