*Difficulty:easy. 20 to 30 mins round trip.
This box has been RETIRED.
Aldergrove Lake Park
Your starting point is "Big Rock" which is located on Lefeuvre Rd. bordering the east side of the park. Go up the trail and see that you immediately have a choice of left or right. Choose left. You are now on the 'Rock 'N Horse" trail Down a dip and up a hill, look for a bench that treats you to a gorgeous view of Mt. Baker and the farmland below.
Continue along. Soon the gravel will end, back into the trees passing a cedar V on your left.Keep an eye out for Camp Elkgrove, and if you are like me you will wish you could go through the gate to explore.
Carry on up the hill. Descend and come to a fence on the left. From the first fence post turn around and pace back 22. See a quad birch. Walk to the base of the quad and turn right. At 10 paces you will spy a convenient hole....
Back the way you came, thanks for visiting!
*Park maps available at kiosks found down the 8th ave. entrance.
