Ouch!!!
this box has been destroyed.
I'll plant a new one next time i'm up that way.
Mooky was born and raised in Winsted, CT., but now lives in Georgia. Dipper and Mooky recently visited the area, and decided to place a box while they were there. Hence: "Mooky's Hometown Letterbox". The time of the visit was right around Dipper's Birthday, so they also released a hitchhiker called "Dipper's Birthday Cladaugh".
BYOI (bring your own ink) For a multi-color stamp, I'd recomend: green, black, orange, blue.
Directions
Just south of the town center of Winsted, Connecticut, you will find the Forest View Cemetary. When you enter the cemetary take the left fork. Travel 0.3 miles with headstones on your right, to the "Veteran's" section. At the Vetran's section Do Not turn right, but continue on straight and the road will curve right. Immediately after the curve there will be a large tree on your left. Park here.
Clue
From the tree:bearing * 225 : Taylor
* 280 : Fant
* 315 : Cote
* 220 walk 24 paces to a large tree
with a hollow bottom containing the
box.
