Adopted by Wednesday Bowler and Celtic Cat January 2011.

Written by D-Man:

Terrain: Easy, can be muddy in places.

Placed by D-man. This is our 1st placed box.

This Doylestown Township Park is south of Doylestown Boro. From 611 go east onto Edison Furlong Rd. with a shell station and stop light. Take the 1st left and watch for the park sign.

Park your car and start your hunt at the slippery slope. Go south to an eating spot. Head 110* over a bridge to trail and bear left. Enjoy this trail with birds, skunk cabbage and briars in the woods. After crossing a bridge the trail comes to a T. Go right to pine trees at 10*. Follow a bearing of 300* across open space to a trail into the woods. Follow the gravel trail following a heading of 240*. Rest on the lone rock and listen to the birds. Pass a smallish tree on right with a vertical healing scar and watch for a tree leaning over the path. From this tree backtrack on the trail 16 paces (2 steps = 1 pace). Head 200* to your "chick" in a tree.

Continue on trails to your desired end.

We would like to hear from you as to the condition of the box: mmcmakin@verizon.net
