"You can't catch me! I'm the gingerbread man!" Try to find the elusive GINGERBREAD MAN along the Rail Trail.

*This is would be appropriate for all ages. The directions should be clear and easy to follow. Note: A stamp pad is NOT included in the letterbox, just FYI to bring your own pad.*

The Rail Trail is a 2.4-mile stretch in Ridgefield, CT that can be accessed at the end of Prospect Street, where there is parking. Park near the Quail Ridge condominium area (19 Prospect Ridge).

The rail trail follows the old railroad tracks to Florida Road and is open for walking, jogging, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing. No bikes or motorized vehicles are allowed.

Start at the beginning of the rail trail, which is accessible from Prospect Street/Prospect Ridge, near the Quail Ridge condominiums. Continue on the rail trail until you must cross the street. Cross Ivy Hill Road to continue on the rail trail.

After you have crossed Ivy Hill Road to continue on the rail trail, you will pass three (3) large, light green utility poles, all on your left. Immediately before you approach the 4th utility pole, which is on your right this time (the first utility pole to be on your right since you crossed Ivy Hill Road), you will see a boulder to your right. The boulder is somewhat level to the rail trail. Again, this boulder is right before the utility pole, on the right side. Try to find THE GINGERBREAD MAN!
