Park in McKnight Park, Mansfield, Texas.

******* NOTE **********************************************
The letterbox is still in place; however the surroundings have changed making these directions/clues out of date and invalid. I live out of state now, so I am in the process of locating someone who can help provide an updated set of clues.
***********************************************************

Take the walking trail away from picnic area, turn left when you see a bridge.

Go over a bridge - under a bridge - and over yet another bridge.

Go to the end of the concrete path, then follow the road bed another 400 feet.

At the base of large tree, look for a log pile. It may even be unusual to some extend. Under the log pile is a large ammo can with the stamp, log, and some items to trade.

In the spirit of the hide, please add a log to the pile before you leave!!

Enjoy!

BTW - The is a geocache/letterbox hybrid. The link will take you to the geocache listing. You can look for this hide as a traditional geocache if you want. That page also contains a map to the location of the letterbox. Look for McKnight Park on the map. To use these directions, you will need to park in the West end of McKnight Park at 287 and Broad Street.
