Summer 2010-MISSING!!!

In need of a container and new logbook as it got drenched again in Spring 2008. If you're willing to replace it for me, email me and I can send you a new log and containter. Thank you in advance!!

Placed by A-Bear with Quilting Noni helping with the cover and concealment. =-)

Trail Difficulty: Less than .5 mile RT. Can be muddy during rainy days.

Directions: From I-20, take Exit 449 South on Cooper St. Drive about 2.5 miles, and F.J. "Red" Kane Park will be on your right. While here, seek out Kantexan's "Butterfly Hello" letterbox too. Enjoy!

All the letterboxing adventures of the day built up our appetite. Quilting Noni said she could eat Mexican food everyday. At this point in the day we were craving any kind of food, but this box is placed for Quilting Noni and her love for Mexican food. After we hid it and returned to the car, we saw a tostado shell laying in the grass. How perfect. =-)

Clues: Head west on the paved path from the playground. Once you reach the orange and white striped gate, head east on the same path, counting 12 concrete slabs. From the 12th slab of concrete, turn left into the woods for 8 paces/16 steps. Turn right on the small trail for 15 paces/30 steps. Turn right again for 6 paces/12 steps up a slight hill. You will see a long, fallen log on the right side of the trail about 4 paces/8 steps away. Go to its base. There's a huge slab of bark covering a hole next to the base of this fallen log. Under LOTS of cover and concealment in this hole is the "Pepper" letterbox. Enjoy!

Let us know how your adventure turns out. =-)
