4/2/06 Alive and well.

6/29/05 I had to move the 2 boxes from Thom Park. City of Gresham cut the parks maintenance budget and decided to close the park. I guess I could leave them there but no sense taking chances.

Because I had a place in mind for a quick re-plant, I combined the 2 boxes into one. You can expect to find 2 stamps in the box. The 2 old logs are combined into one. Please stamp in starting at about 10 pages into the logbook, after the original pages.

There is a small greenway located next to 257th between Cherry Park Road (the light) and Columbia River Hwy in Troutdale (the next light when headed north on 257th, the bottom of the hill). You can park somewhere on Cherry Park Road and walk down the hill of 257th to the entrance for extra exercise, OR park on the Columbia River Hwy in Troutdale and walk up the hill, OR find 340 SW 4th Avenue (Well #4) in Troutdale and park there.

Clues:
If you enter at the ramp, count 30. If you enter at the stairs, count 16. If you enter at the crosswalk, count 37.

Once you've figured out what you are counting, and you are sure you have the right spot, stand perpendicular to the direction you were walking. I won't tell you perpendicular which way. Walk 14 steps to the hiding place. Look inside and rummage around.

Please be sure to hide adequately. Also note the 2 letters that are larger than the others - they will be part of the clue to finding the final box in this series.
