*****Back in action on 8/15/05!! Stamp recarved and the box replaced in a different location. Please update your records!!*****

Alive and well as of 10/21/07!

Location: Frontier Park, home of the Pierce County Fairgrounds. Graham, WA

From Meridian Street in Puyallup, travel south towards Graham. (This is just off of Highway 512, the South Hill Mall/Mt. Rainier exit). Stay on Meridian as you pass through South Hill and head out towards Graham. Frontier Park will be on your right. Turn into the main park entrance and park in any of the parking lots near the restrooms and the play area.

Clues:

Park either just left or just right of the brown restrooms. There will be a paved road traveling north. Take this road, going past the restrooms on the left and the covered picnic table area. There will be brown buildings to your right.

Follow this paved road until you see the house of knowledge on your left. Past the house of knowledge will be a large gravel road leading toward some buildings. Take this road, and veer right, past the floral building and towards the GRANGE HALL.

Once you see the Grange Hall, stay to the right of the building and follow along the side of it. Behind the Grange Hall will be a smaller gravel trail, leading into the woods. Take this trail!

When you get to a large intersection, you will see a stage/amphitheatre area to your right and down a small hill. Go toward the amphitheatre, passing by the seats until you are facing the stage. There will be a trail to your left, as you face the stage.. .. Take this trail!

At the first split in the trail, go toward the right.. and at the second split, take the right path again, going uphill... not downhill toward the left!

At the next split, take a left and go 19 steps until you see a small trail just to your right. This trail will lead to a "circle" of trees, the old location of the Circle of Life. The box has been moved to a fallen log behind the family of trees. There is a "path" through the log.. and JUST to the right of this "path", in a cubbyhole and covered well with moss and leaves, is the Circle of Life letterbox!

Please be sure to hide this carefully, as many people visit this park! Frontier Park is a fun outing for families and children, with many small trails that people do not normally venture on. Be sure to stop by the play area, if you have little ones! In August, be sure to watch for the Pierce County Fair, as this may not be the best time to go letterboxing.
