This one is great to get when you go for Red Canyon Park lb. It is abit further from Canon City (or closer to Cripple Creek). Watch along the road for a cabin that will almost fit on a shelf. Note: it is almost on Shelf Road.
The cabin is on private property, so respect their property rights, please do not go thru the fence.
This is an easy drive by.
Once you see the cabin, pull off to the side of the road, carefully. Watch for traffic and look around. On the opposit side from the cabin, there is an evergreen and 2 boulders nearby. Carefully check under the ledge at the back of the smaller one for the box. Please be careful and mindful of trafic. Discretion and a well hidden box can last years.
This is a microbox no ink pad/pen.
We love to hear what you think so don't be shy.
We will not be able to attend the box often please help us if it needs repair.
If you have not done so continue on Shelf Road to Cripple Creek.
Shelf Road was a stage coach route. Just imagine what it was like to be without windows, airconditioning, shock absorbers and road repair crews.
Still in place as of 9/16/06
