I LOVE THE 80’S

Bridge Creek Conservation area
4 box series
Stamps: Hand carved
Terrain: walking wooded trails…no hills
Dogs: welcome on leash. Please clean up after your pet
every area on the cape could have ticks. use spray

Directions to the conservation area:
Take Route 6A to Route 149 go over the RR tracks and on the left you will see the West Barnstable Fire Department.

Or you can take Route 6 to exit 5 head north on route 149 (towards 6A) and the fire department is on the right about .2 of a mile.

Pull into the driveway of the fire department and go to the left of the building. The entrance to the conservation area is in the left back corner. They allow 3 spots here for parking

Direction to the boxes:
Start down the trail, at the Y, go right off the main trail. Follow around to the right until you find the bench (on your right) when sitting on the bench you’ll see a path directly in front of you. Behind the largest rock on the left you will find box #1
Continue on this path going left at choice then left again to find a bunch of large cedars in front of you. Now go right.
Right at the choice with the double trunked oak and through the cedar arch. Past the bench and on to the left. When you come to the next bench go left. On the right…just before the large pink and moss covered rock find box #2 in front of the woodpile.
Continue on the way you were going. Past the “pond” on the right and over the “root bridge” when you get to the T, look left (just before the T) and find box #3 in the pile of rocks on the left of the trail.

Now time to go back the way you came…do you remember the way? Right at the bench… and at the next bench...oh....wait don't go the way you came, at this next bench, go left and find box #4 at the base of the cedar guarded by the 2 large rocks. after stamping in, continue on and at the T go right and then a left onto the main trail and out to your car.
