Easy walk along the Farmington River, twenty mins. one way.

From Rt. 10 S out of Farmington center, take a right onto Meadow Rd. (when Meadow goes to the left, stay straight on Red Oak Hill Rd.) Drive 1.4 miles (from Rt. 10) and take a right onto Tunxis Meade Rd. There's a sign saying Tunxis Meade Park. Drive down the road to the parking lot on the right.

Clues. Find the playground and follow the wooden guardrail, going behind the restrooms and between the soccer fields. Follow this path in a straight line until it goes into the woods. After a short ways you'll come to the Farmington River and a structure of some sort with a fire pit in the center of it. Take the left nearest the river (blazed white) and follow it until you see a faint right arrow pointing the way over a bridge. After the bridge keep to the right path whenever you have a choice to make, following the river all the way. When you come to metal structures, follow the arrow pointing right. The white blazes stop along here somewhere but you should see a fire ring close to the water's edge. When you see a bridge come into view over the river, start looking along the edge of the trail (left) for two large brown stones. Count about 12 steps after these and go up the bank on the left to two lighter colored boulders.
The duck WAS hiding between these.
Be careful not to be seen by the biking people and re hide completely covered.
The Engraver wanted to make Rubaduc's "What's Up Duck" her 1000th find, so when we got to the box and she was stamping in, I, Corrina, AKA DD, read the journal and said "There's a bonus!!!!", we just love them BONUSES, She said "Read the clues" I said,"After you stamp in and do your happy dance, Ask me "What's in my bag?" So, she did her happy dance with picture taken, then I showed her the box I made up for her. We decided to plant it near where we found "What's Up Duck".
After you replace that box, stay up on the embankment and walk a few steps south to a pile of rocks. There is a piece of cement with some metal sticking out. A little in front of and to the left you will find her SPECIAL box.
