A local icon is stashed in the Riverfront Park in downtown St. Joseph.
Directions to the park:
- Take I-29 North to St. Joseph.
- Exit I-29 to I-229
- Exit I-229 at 59 Hwy./St. Joseph Ave
- Turn right on Main Street
- Take Main Street south to Francis
- Turn right on Francis and park at Riverfront Park
In the park, get on the trail and head upstream. You’ll immediately cross a bridge.
A short ways ahead there is a park bench. Behind the bench there is a small path into the woods. The box is placed on the back side of a tree under a flat rock.
