"I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me." John 10:14
I've been wanting to place my own letterbox, despite the fear of having to create a stamp. What better reason than to honor two very precious people. Thank you for being such wonderful shepherds, Pastor and Fran. I love you both and will always know your voice...it reflects my Father's.
To find this letterbox, begin by entering Liberty Park (on 62)in Hillsboro. Stay on the paved road and go straight past the YMCA. You will go through a gate to Harmony Lake Discovery Habitat. Park in the turnaround. Straight ahead is a path, more like a gravel road. You may have to go through the gate, which is very easy to do. Take the path for about 59 paces (1 pace equals 2 steps) to the top of the hill. There is a group of rocks near a small tree at 320*. A few of the rocks are placed so that there is a little cave under them. There you will find the letterbox (it has a blue lid).
There is one stamp, but two sides are carved, so you will stamp twice. Hopefully my carvings will improve with time. Please bring an ink pad.
Feel free to email me if you find it (or if you don't). Happy hunting! This is an easy one!!
