ATTENTION: MOST OF THESE ARE MISSING!!!!

Plan on taking about an hour, depending on how long you wish to explore. BRING BUG SPRAY AND HIKING BOOTS,there are quite a few muddy areas. Also there is NO INK in any of the boxes. The first 9 are microboxes and contain just the stamp, that spell out a word. The last box contains the log book and another stamp that goes underneath the word you spell, so make sure you leave enough room in your book. Good Luck and have fun!!!
From Litchfield center, drive north on Rt. 63 for 3.4 miles to Goshen/Litchfield town line and Brook Rd. on left. Turn left on Brook Rd. 300 ft on left is the William Buell Nature Area, however there are no signs. Take the trail on the south side of the road. You will see white blazes. Follow the trail until you come to a skinny tree in the middle of the path with a white blaze on it. Look to the right to see a pine tree. In the split you will find letter#1
Continue on the trail, just after log "bridge" on left side there is a multi-trunked tree (I counted 7) in the center and under some bark is letter #2.
Continue on the trail, you will come to a large flat rock on the right side, under the backside of this rock is letter#3.
Continue on the trail, In front of you, soon you will see a large rock in front of a tree, in between the tree and the rock you will find letter #4.
Continue on the trail, soon you will see a big moss covered rock on your right.Stop and look left to another rock with a tree growing REAL close to it. Between the two is letter #5
Continue on the trail, it will turn right and then left, and just before you go through the stone wall, there are two trees on the left. Behind the second tree is a flat rock, between these two is letter #6.
Continue down the hill to a BIG maple tree next to a stone wall, there is an opening in the wall. On the left side of this opening is a half-naked tree (it's a twin-tree, one of which has no bark). In the "Y" you will find letter #7.
Go through the opening in the wall and follow the well- worn path, you will see blazes again soon. You should be heading northwest on this trail and heading towards the water. On your left there is a skinny tree with a white blaze on it. A few steps more you'll see a kinda crooked pine tree,(if you come to an even skinnier tree with a blaze, you've gone too far), in the roots of this crooked pine tree you'll find letter #8.
Continue a little ways further and you'll see a "Medusa" tree (I didn't know what else to call it), It has a broken arm heading north at 30-35 degrees. On top of her broken arm is letter #9.
You can get a really good view of the falls if you take a reading of 290 from the "Medusa" tree to a pine tree. And from there, squatting helps. Or you can explore if you wish.
And now onto the last box, Head back the way you came, through the stone wall and up the hill, the trail turns right then left. At the moss covered rock(mentioned earlier),take a reading of 280 and in the stone wall,to the right of the maple tree, behind a trap door and a few sticks you will find the box with the log book.
