This box was originally planted in John A. Minetto State Park in Torrington, until it was ravaged by a beast!!!! I pulled it until I could find it a new home. To find this new home follow the clues below.
On Route 318 in Barkhamsted, you will find the MDC West Beach entrance. The gate is only open from 10am to 8pm and there is a $6.00 fee. However, you will reach the box before you have to pay. From the gate travel .2 miles to a clearing with a big pine tree in the center.Pull off to the side of the road and park. There is a big rock on the left side of the clearing, behind it you will find her. For best results, bring her back to your car to stamp in and be careful when you retrieve or replace her.
