Location: Kroger Wetlands
Difficulty: Easy
Terrain: Flat but may be muddy after recent rains.
Time: Less than 20 minutes after you park.
Distance: Less than 400 yards from car to quest and back again.
Please bring your stamp, a stamp pad, pen and an old rag to wipe off the box/your hands

Head toward I77 on Pike street and find your way to the Kroger Wetlands gravel parking lot between the Kroger store and the Paddlewheel Restaurant on Acme street. (The wetland is between the Kroger shopping center and I77. Find the path to the wetlands at the far end of the parking lot and take it until crossing the wooden bridge. Start counting steps at the far end of the bridge and when you get to 81 you should be standing close to a 10 trunked maple tree between the path and the pond.
Big Tom is in the base of this tree under several large, dead and broken up limbs. Discretely do the stamping and please reseal the baggies well to keep the log dry in the non waterproof black pouch. When your done you can walk the trail a little further to the wooden observation deck where you may watch Wood Ducks and other wet land habitat.
