This box was removed for maintenance on 7/8/08.. it will be back! The clues will be updated then.

Not since Blackbeard hisself has so ruthless a buccaneer trolled the Spanish Main. Captain Barbossa, the wiley captain of a cursed crew, has stolen the infamous Black Pearl and set her captain, Jack Sparrow, adrift to hitchhike from ship to ship, coast to coast, box to box searching for her familiar black decks. Barbossa and his crew search the great inland sea for the Isla de Muerta and salvation, avoiding the moonlight and leaving death and destruction in their wake.

The Dauntless, Her Majesty's flagship of the Carribean, has chased the Pearl into hiding where she waits in the shadows for salvation...or the miraculous return of Captain Jack Sparrow.

If ye be brave enough to face the curse and the danger, pull up yer anchor and set sail for adventure!

Guide yer ship down I-70 as it nears Palisade. Afore ye gets to Palisade, change yer course and heads up the Exit 49 and into the current of the raging river known as Highway 65 onto El Grande Mesa. Keeps yer course steady.. no side trips or time to drop anchor until ye pass through Mesa and up higher still, rolling with the waves and screaming at the mountain gulls. Pass by Mesa Lakes and starts watchin' yer knobs and dials. From Spruce Grove travel another 3.1 sea miles until ye sees a place to drop anchor on the right side of the road, just past the silvery spikes of the cursed fence what guards the road. On yer right the great inland sea will spread afore yer gawkin' eyes..on the left be the way to yer treasure. If ye be so contrary as to be heading the other direction.. say, maybe ye come up the other side of this Grande Mesa, then come .2 miles north of Skyway...one port past Skyway Point.

Drop anchor and row your miserable dinghy across the road to the Falling Rocks buoy. From here? 90 strokes north til ye stands by a five foot tall tuft of sea weed what looks remarkable like one of them thar pine trees.

East you go, up out of the sea and onto the rocky pier what is above ye. Stands on the stone pier and looks north east to see a sweet mother and father pine tree what be leadin' their four children on a hike. From the mother and father (they've got no riches.. we already checked.. garrrr).. walk in a line what points 55 degrees for 70 steps.. more or less. If ye've got a peg leg, mileage may vary. Now! See that large drift wood what be resting against a boulder and pointing up the hill?! Look to whar he be pointing.. that be your destination. A clump of trees nested against and around a large boulder, their branches wrapping ever so protective like around the sides of the big rock. On the south side, between the boulder and the branches, covered by rocks and protected by a curse.. lies The Pearl.

Board her if you dare.
