From La Purisima Mission go a couple miles south to the edge of the hills to Beattie Park.
Find the Urban Forest Area.
Follow the asphalt path to the right. Go past green metal swing to the sign for Recognition Grove. Walk west to a sign that warns: Rattlesnakes may be present. You can see a Eucalyptus stump south down a small slope. The box is on the far side under some bark.
It is our first letterbox.
