This box has been retired.

Pulled....needs to be fixed. 09/01/07
Will be replaced soon.

This box is located in Wonderbrook Park in Kennebunk.
Find Plumber Street (near the Sea Road School). This is a dead end road so do not be alarmed. Go to the end and park in the lot for Wonderbrook Park. This park closes at dusk and even though it is not monitored I think it should be done in the day light (crazy boxers take note). In addition this path is full of roots so watch your step.

Follow the trail and cross the river on the at the bridge. Take the right hand fork. You will pass a sign on your right informing you that this path is maintained by the Kennebunk Conservation Commission. Very shortly after this you will cross a stream (which could be dried up depending on when you try for this box). After stepping across this stream count 16 steps to a gnarly looking three trunked maple. From there count an additional 17 steps to a realitively large pine on your left part way up hill heading away from the river. From this pine look to the right. You should see a tree that branches into a V part way up. Find a way to get out there and look down near the base of this tree.

P.S. If you feel like exploring. Take the small path to the right before the bridge. Less than 50 feet down this path, if you look to the right, you can see a strange man made structure. If anyone has a guess as to what this was for e-mail me.
