These are our first boxes and first homemade stamps. Hope we did it right.
Please try to tuck the boxes back out of sight when you've finished. They might be less visible if they're upside down. Have fun!

Box #1, Faithful Friends (Vanished Dec. 2005)
(easiest)

There's a pretty brick church tucked in a neighborhood of Northeast Seattle, just south of Lake City Way.
Go to the traffic circle at 18th Ave NE and NE 82nd. (Please watch out for passing cars.) Across the circle, stand so you can see the Faith Lutheran Church readerboard -- your view will be framed by a tree trunk on the left and a yellow/orange caution reflector on the right.
Look down under the lavender at your feet.

Box #2, Bunny Trail (Gone as of January 2006)
(easy)

Froula Playground is a small park just south of the Roosevelt Reservoir. 12th Ave. NE is the nearest street. There are swings, a sandbox, climbing apparatus, slides, merry-go-round and a bouncy ride. And for parents, there are several benches. Look for the four benches in a row. In the middle of the four is a plaque dedicated to Dave Brittain. There's a large evergreen a few steps away. Go to the opposite side, gently pull back the branches and look at the base of the trunk. Wouldn't this be a nice place for a bunny to live?

Box #3, Batter's Box
(a little harder)

Maple Leaf Park is the scene of many baseball games in the spring and summer. Go to the eastern-most baseball diamond and head to the bushes on the hill past center field. (Nearest intersection is 14th Ave NE and NE 82nd.) There's a little footpath, but don't take it. Instead, look for the white-barked tree that leans like it's pointing at home plate. Stand next to it so your outstretched left hand touches it and you're facing home plate. About two feet to your right will be a granite boulder that's a little taller than the rest. Reach under the opposite side of it.
