10/1/2006 - BOX MIA. Sorry!

Special Notes: Be sure to print the clues for “Viking Home Run” as both boxes are located in the same ballpark. If by chance you visit the park and there is a game in progress please come back for the box at another time.

From Twin Falls travel on I-84 west and take the Middleton Exit (Exit #25) and take it to the right (east). Once you turn off the exit it turns into Hwy. 44. Drive into Middleton and turn left (north) by a gas station on to Hawthorne Street. Drive for a couple of blocks until you come to a baseball field owned by Middleton Park & Recreation on the left side of the street.

Park and locate Field # 2. Stand at home plate facing 2nd base with a compass and locate 220 degrees (southwest). At 220 degrees in the outfield right next to a white fence you will see a large tree with four trunks. At the base of this tree there is a perfect hiding nook for the “Play Ball” letterbox to be hiding. Please watch little ones near this fence as it is electrified and they might be tempted to get up close to the fence, as there is a horse living in the corral.

Enjoy your visit to Middleton. Should you note the box missing, it’s contents in bad repair or if you just want to say “hi” please contace me at Blackvelvetrav@yahoo.com. Happy hunting!
