Unfortunately, birder passed away in May of 2015. I have assumed ownership of all his boxes and the clues listed at AtlasQuest and LBNA. I will appreciate help maintaining the boxes and receiving detailed remarks about the condition of the boxes so I can keep the clues up to date. Contact me (Calli-K) via either AQ or LBNA.
NOTE FROM CALLI-K 04/08/2016: Went to check on the box, and it is indeed missing. Too bad - it was a nice walk along the creek and a very nice stamp as well.
To get there: Take Highway 20 northwest out of Sisters. Watch for Indian Ford campground on your right. Turn right into the campground. Park at the entrance.
To the box: Walk past the gate, follow the road to the right. Go right again past another gate and across the bridge. (NOTE: The bridge has been taken out, so you will have to be creative about getting across the creek. It may or may not be rebuilt - signage says they are looking for options.) Stay left now watch for number nine. Down toward the creek and follow the flow. Cross the logs that lie in your path. The trail forks, stay to the left. Past the power of water. Now watch on your right. What should be down is pointing up. Beyond the upturned foundation twins lie pointing away from you. The box is between the twins.
