Directions: Depending on how you proceed to Cottonwood Creek Canyon campground, will determine the length of your hike for this box. You can reach it via 4 wheeled drive vehicle, river craft, etc. We kayaked in thanks to Don & Gwen. Stop at the outhouse at Cottonwood Creek campground to begin your trek.
Clues: From the Fiddle Footed Outhouse follow the dirt road southwest. At the fork, head left up the hill on the rocky road until it levels. Look to the right for 2 pines separated by 1 foot about 5 paces off the trail. In between the trees under some very obvious rocks you will be Fiddle Footed in CA. Enjoy your adventure.
Please be careful as we had a swarm of bees that flew over us when we were in the area finding a hiding spot. We think they were just passing by, but just a heads up to steer clear of Killer Bees and whatever else lurks in the wilderness.
