Directions: Traveling on I80 take Exit 106 north. Turn right on Cornell Ave and stop on the left hand side of the road when you reach the “Lovelock Welcomes You” sign on top of a perfect pile of rocks for a letterbox. This sign is near the SHABOOM Restaurant (now the China Palace). If you pass the Lazy K campground on the right you have gone too far.
Come to Lovelock to unlock the love for the 2nd time. This hiding spot should last longer than the first. So enjoy your adventure.
Clues:
Stand behind the rock pile and sign and align yourself with the V. There’s a big granite rock leaning against the rock pile. Under the rock it touches you will Unlock the Love. SHABOOM!!!!
The logbook and first finder badge are covered with dirt and twigs from our adventure on the E. Fork of the Carson River. Take a moment and wish Don & Gwen well as those remnants of our trip are to remind you of their 4th grandchild who was born during our adventure on the river. I bet she’s beautiful. Congratulations Don & Gwen. Unlock the Love!!!
