Warning: This series of boxes contains nudity and may not be suitable for some people.
Warning: To obtain one of the boxes you must climb a tree. If you are not up for an easy climb, skip this series.

I suggest bringing (3) or more different color stamp pads. The Princess looks great in gold and then when you stamp her dresses on, I suggest using a darker color. Red and blue would be appropriate. Also, if you want a nice solid stamp image of the Princess and your not going to add any clothes, black is great. Princess Natural measures 5 inches tall, so bring your large Logbook

Hemlock Crossing offers 239 acres of woods and wetlands along the Pigeon River. There are over six miles of trails for hiking and cross country skiing. The trails meander through bottomland and upland forest, old pine plantations and along Pigeon River. A pedestrian bridge and numerous overlooks offer scenic views of the river corridor, wetlands, natural springs, and woods. Facilities include two small picnic shelters, a kayak/canoe launch, and over a mile of paved trail.

31 to West Olive, West on Croswell, South on West Olive Road turn right into park entrance.

This series of boxes was inspired by the story: The Virgin Mary's Child (1857). It is one of the many marvelous tales collected and published by Wilhelm and Jacob Grimm

STORY Once Upon a Time a Princess found herself lost and alone deep in a forest. She did not know how she came to be there, nor where or who she had been before. After many tears, she went in search of shelter and food. She soon grew used to living in the forest and lived there happily for some time. After many seasons passed, her clothing began to fall into ruins and fell off her body. She did not mind her nakedness and felt quite natural.

One night as the Princess slept, two lovely Fairies were passing through the forest and saw the beautiful Princess lying asleep, naked on a little soft patch of ground. The Fairies marveled at the beauty of the girl. They thought it a shame that such a pretty creature should have no fine clothes. So they each wrought a dress as a gift for her, and they named her Princess Natural.

When Princess Natural awoke in the morning, she saw the garments that the Fairies had left for her. One shone like the sun, the other like the moon. She was so pleased and spent most of her day playing dress up in them.

If you would like to visit Princess Natural and see the gift's the Fairies left her, I will tell you how.

CLUES Start at the large area with the very hard ground and proceed west on the trail. 4 is the number you need, cross over water, and soon you'll need to look at your hand to know the next number. In a bit, you will need to look at your right hand and add one. After a rest, pass through the land of the tall limbless ones.

Here comes a chance to show you are not lazy. Be good and follow the harder path. Keep moving until you come to a T; it would be wise to go left here.

When you can, turn right and follow 14. As you go up a little hill, off to your left you will see a giant, ancient, many-armed Maple. Oh no! The Princess just spotted you and she is very shy, she just climbed high up into that tree!
Once you have found Princess Natural, you may want to stamp her into your log book a couple of times because I am going to tell you where her two dresses are hiding now.

Back on your trail, still heading in the same direction you were before, you will come to another T, and of course make the right decision. Wander on this trail for awhile, when it is time, march in the direction of 16. Your trail does a curvy swervy. Fourteen paces before a tree on your left, broken at about 7 feet, go 30 paces at 160 degrees. You will find a long, fallen log and inside is The Blue Fairy's Gift.

Go back to your trail and walk on in the same direction you were going, towards 17. At the large demented Oak, head east. Right away go to the "scenic overlook." Have a seat, notice the mushroom tree? At 140 degrees from your resting spot, look for the same kind of tree as the mushroom tree and head to it. Careful for the prickers! In this tree you will find The Red Fairy's Gift.
