RETIRED

These Microboxes are located at Ponkapoag Pond.
From Route 128:
1) Follow Route 128 to the Route 138 cloverleaf exit (Exit 2A).
2) From the Route 138 cloverleaf, go south on Route 138 past Ponkapoag Golf Course to the next traffic light.
3) At the traffic light, turn left onto Randolph Street and travel for one mile.
4) Directly across from the Canton Equestrian Center's is the parking entrance for Ponkapoag Pond. (Not the locked gate entrance.)

From the Trail Map Bulletin Board you will turn left onto Acton Path. Shortly you will come to a pile of rocks on the right and left sides of the trail. On your left, there will be a small opening with the rocks around in a semi circle. There is a large tree with a smaller (skinny) tree next to it with a rock at the base of these two trees. Pocket Full of Posies is hidden between the rock and the small tree.

Continue back down Acton Path. There will soon be a very small path on your left. Go up this small path crossing over two fallen trees. You will see a stone wall on your right. The stone wall ends and turns to the right in an L shape. Wish Upon A Star is hidden at the corner of the L on the southwesterly side.

Now go back down to Acton Path and continue on Acton Path. You will shortly see a small path on your right going towards the water. There will be a stone wall on your right. When you reach the spot where the stone wall crosses the path, stop and on your left will be a large tree with a pile of rocks. Blue Moon is hidden under the rocks at the base of the tree.

Now return to Acton Path. Continue until you see a large opening in the path with two paths on the left with large stones at their opening. Take the path to the right. You will see two fallen trees in a V shape. Little Miss is at the bottom of the V under rocks and twigs.

Return to Acton Path once again. Continue down until you reach a great spot for fishing on your right. After the second opening to the pond ... about 20 steps up on the right is a double trunk tree. The Inchworm is hiding in the crook where the trunks meet. He is hiding under leaves and twigs. Please rehide him carefully and make sure you can not see him from the trail.

You can now either return to Acton Path and turn back the way you came to return to your car. Or you can continue on Acton Path and follow it all the way around Ponkapoag Pond.

You will need to bring your own stamp pad or markers as these are small micro boxes. And be sure to wear lots of bug spray!

Please let me know if you found any of these series and take great care rehiding them. Cover with leaves and branches when necessary. I hope you enjoy this little series!
