Spring
The second of the "season series".

San Gabriel Park
We decided to focus this series at the San Gabriel Park because it is such a beautiful location with so much to offer. As I write these clues the trail is being extended with its final destination linking up to Lake Georgetown. Enjoy the "seasons" as you walk the trail.

CLUES:
From Austin, take IH 35 going north and take Lake Georgetown/Andice exit. Head east(right) on Williams Drive, stay in the middle lane and take a left (north) onto Austin Avenue. Take your first right (east) on Stadium Drive. Turn right at the stop sign on Morrow Street follow this around until you see a restaurant on your right named "Catfish and More". Pull into a little dirt turn around across from the restaurant on the other side of the street facing a portion of the San Gabriel Trail. There will be a picnic table there feel free to park your car. The trail will be straight ahead. When facing the river turn right and follow the trail. The trail goes under Austin Avenue, you pass a bench with a water fountain and finally you will come to a second bench commemorated to Tom Swift. There is a lampost there as well and it is #1450 just so you know if you are on the right track. Facing the bench look behind the bench and to your right and you will see two trees. Look for the tree that is trying to get away. At the base of this tree will be a pile of rocks and there you will find Spring.
